Girls already have voices, ideas, and the power to shape their own lives. What continues to stand in their way are the inequalities and harmful gender norms that limit their rights and autonomy.

This International Day of the Girl, discover how REALgirl Foundation and SERniña are working alongside communities in Guatemala to challenge these barriers and build a more equitable future.

REALgirl (SERniña) welcomes Cefora Tomas as Executive Director, marking a new chapter in locally led, women-led, and community-rooted leadership in Guatemala. Her journey reflects our commitment to investing in the leadership, knowledge, and capacity that already exist within Guatemalan communities.
